Who Can I Cover on my AVBOB Policy Plan?
Introduction
With every AVBOB policy plan, you can cover a wide range of family members. They have done their best to ensure you don’t leave anybody out. In South Africa, there are many single income households. AVBOB understands the importance of covering many people. On this page, we will look at whom you can include in your funeral policy. Read More
AVBOB will extend the same benefits to all the members on the policy. For example, if your insured brother passes on, he will also qualify for the free benefits. The free benefits include discounts on the actual funeral. For instance, AVBOB will give you up to R11 000 discount if they arrange the funeral on your behalf. This extra cash is a great benefit. They understand the industry and what you need to arrange a burial.
Whom Can I Cover on my AVBOB Plan?
Firstly, you can cover your direct family. In short, this will include your spouse, children, and parents. You can add your girlfriend, boyfriend, or fiancé. You can cover your children and adopted children. With AVBOB, you only pay for the first child. The rest will be covered free. There is no limit to the number of children you can include. To qualify, it must be your children. You can’t add, for example, your brother’s children under this benefit. On your AVBOB policy plan, you can cover your parents and parents-in-law. They will fall under your direct family section.
Secondly, you can cover up to 9 extended family members. This section will ensure you don’t leave anybody out of the policy. Here you can cover your siblings, uncles, aunts, etc. You can include your nephews and nieces under this section.
Lastly, you can add or remove members later. If you need to make changes, you can let us know. You can remove a member if they can financially support themselves at a later stage. Alternatively, you can add a member if they become dependent on you for financial support. You stay in control of your policy.
AVBOB Extended Family Premiums
Each family member will have a separate quote. You can adjust the amount independently. This flexibility gives you full control of the premium. You can increase or decrease members individually. For example, you can cover your brother for R10 000 but keep your cover on R50 000. At the end of the quote, all the premiums will get combined into one amount. This final amount will be your monthly premium.
AVBOB policies are very affordable. You do not have to pay an arm and a leg to get an excellent funeral plan. You can get cover from as little as just R37 p/m.. This amount is a small price to pay for the peace of mind that comes with this type of insurance.
